Today is International Women's Day. Celebrated annually on 8 March, it celebrates the movement for women's rights. Anywise is committed to diversity in our business and have implemented a number of initiatives that strive to promote a more inclusive and diverse workplace.
Beyond that, we have implemented a policy that aims to provide better access to our supply chain for under-represented groups - such as Women Owned or Directed companies providing services to Defence Industry.
We are proud to have sponsored the inaugural Australian Defence Magazine Women in Defence Awards in 2018.
We do these things because we think they are important.
We will continue to find better ways of supporting mobility and flexibility in all of our markets to ensure we can make the most of our workforce. Because relying on only half of the population to solve complex challenges is not realising our full potential.
International Women's Day is an occasion to review how far women have come in their struggle for domestic safety and security, equality, peace and development. It is an opportunity to review our own culture, policies and practices and see if there is something that we can do, rather than something we can say, to mobilise for enduring change.
Today, we are proud of the contributions that women have made to our company, our families and our community.
